Amir Noor, MD

Northwell Health

I am an interventional radiologist who recently joined the faculty at Northwell Health System where I clinically practice at Long Island Jewish Hospital and other affiliates. My clinical interests are venous disease, interventional oncology, and gynecologic and genitourinary procedures including prostate artery embolization and uterine fibroid embolization. I am particularly interested in trans-radial approach for these procedures to improve patient comfort and enable decreased hospitalization stays.

I have also recently joined the education committee for the Interventional Radiology division at Northwell. As a member of this committee, I am involved in the resident didactic and clinical curriculum and mentoring of medical students at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra.

Prior to joining the faculty at Northwell, I matriculated from the integrated B.A./M.D program at the George Washington University in Washington DC. I then completed a Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology residency at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York where I served as the Chief Resident in my final year.
