Mount Sinai Medical Center

I was born in the south of Thailand, Trang Province, on August 17, 1944. After I completed the compulsory education in Trang my family sent me to Bangkok , a Thai capital , to complete my high School. After high school graduation I won a Japanese Government sponsored scholarship to study medicine in Japan in 1964.

In Japan first I completed my Pre-Med Course at Chiba University, before I matriculated at Osaka University Medical School. Following the medical school graduation I decided to persue my medical training in America.

Before coming to America with my new Japanese wife I interned at US Army Hospital, Camp Zama, Japan for 1 year. It was during the Vietnam War and it was a rich and exiting experiences including caring for American Soldiers who were sicken by tropical diseases such as Malaria or suffered war injuries.

I accepted an intern position at the Mount Vernon Hospital, in Mount Vernon, New York. Followed by a radiology residency at Jewish Hospital and Medical Center of Brooklyn. During my residency in Radiology I fell in love with Nuclear Medicine. Following my Radiology residency I spent 2 years at Albert Einstein College of Medicine completing my Nuclear residency.

Along the way I have met a lot of great people. People who are smart, hard working and compassionate. Without mentioned their names , I owe a whole lot to them.
Following the Nuclear Medicine Residency , I accepted a radiology position at Beth Israel Medical Center where I have been ever since.
