Jonathan Goldstein, MD

Dr. Jonathan Goldstein completed his diagnostic radiology residency at Maimonides Medical Center in 2019 serving as chief resident. He pursued a fellowship in Advanced Cardiac Imaging at NYU Langone Health, graduating in 2020. While at NYU, he focused his training on the analysis of coronary and aortic CTA as well as cardiac MRI (CMR). His interest in CTA resulted in the publication of a review article regarding the CT evaluation of acute aortic syndromes. While at NYU, Dr. Goldstein focused much of his time honing his interpretive skills in CMR working with mentors from both radiology and cardiology specialties.  During fellowship, Dr. Goldstein actively participated in clinical research, specifically related to the CMR evaluation of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM), which resulted in the publication of a case series in the field of HCM. Dr. Goldstein then joined the Columbia University faculty in July 2020 where he currently serves as lead resident educator for cardiac imaging. Dr. Goldstein’s interests at Columbia are in the realms of adult congenital heart disease where he is an active participant in the busy adult congenital clinical practice as well as on implementing paramagnetic imaging into the daily clinical workflow. Dr. Goldstein resides in Westchester, NY with his husband and their yellow Labrador Retriever.
