Dr. Kierans is an associate professor in the Abdominal Imaging Department at Weill Cornell Medical College, where she serves as the director of hepatobiliary Imaging and the director of MRI Safety. She is the vice-chair of the LI-RADS International Working Group and serves as co-chair of the Society of Abdominal Radiology Cholangiocarcinoma disease focused panel. Her research and educational efforts include qualitative and quantitative features of liver cancers on MRI and improving accuracy of standardized HCC diagnostic systems.
